After many months of speculation, it is now finally official. Josh Diesel is in the process of filming the band's life story. This long awaited tribute to the bands rise to musical perfection is aptly entitled, "Man Band: The Josh Diesel Story". Very little in the way of details have been released regarding the production. Producer, writer and director Scott Baio has kept tight wraps on any interaction with the press.

The film stars Timothy Busfield playing the fiery lead singer Josh Baron. Rutger Hauer plays the drug loving Jack Turner. Vincent D'Onofrio potrays the rythmically challenged Bill Wright. And the brilliant Ed O'Neil plays the hermaphroditic Jamie Gurley.

The lack of official information regarding the film has not stopped the endless flow of rumors regarding the film's content from circling the entertainment world. Stories range everywhere from monkeys playing the cast members, to a full blown soft porn rock opera. One souce claims the movie will be bloodier than the Passion of the Christ. One thing is certain - the fans are excited for this movie's release.
